Roles and Responsibilities
1. Manage the procurement function and ensure the achievement of departmental performance targets.
2. Develop and maintain a supplier management system to monitor and improve supplier performance in terms of quality, lead time, and cost.
3. Collaborate closely with local manufacturing and operations teams to ensure a reliable material supply chain.
4. Work as part of the global supply chain team to integrate and leverage KUKA’s global supplier resources.
5. Lead pricing negotiations with suppliers to drive cost savings and meet procurement budget targets.
6. Oversee the complete procurement cycle with U.S.-based suppliers, including contract negotiation, purchase order issuance, delivery tracking, payment reconciliation, and exception resolution.
7. Support local new product development initiatives, including sample procurement and prototyping.
8. Provide support for both internal and external audits related to procurement activities.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in supply chain, process engineering, or production.
2. Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
3. Willingness to learn, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
4. Strong skills in planning, negotiation, and supplier communication.
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong sense of urgency.
6. Excellent teamwork and cross-cultural communication skills.
7. Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is required.
8. CPT/OPT is acceptable
