What you’ll do:

Support Purchasing staff in supplier development efforts, ensuring alignment with ODL’s expectations for safety, product quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.

Collaborate with internal departments (engineering, operations, logistics, etc.) to execute cross-functional projects.

Participate in internal and external supplier negotiations.

Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and documentation of purchasing processes and procedures.

Lead a strategic summer project that will provide meaningful impact to the business and be presented to ODL’s executive leadership team.

Conduct market research and data analysis to support sourcing strategies.

Assist in evaluating supplier performance and driving corrective actions when necessary.

Potential for local and domestic travel to support supplier engagement activities.
What you’ll need:

Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Interest in supplier relationship management and procurement strategy.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Willingness to learn and take initiative on projects.
