Purchasing&Category Manager (Home Category)

WQ Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the product strategy for the Home & Living category,
• Lead supplier selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring processes,
• Analyze the existing supplier portfolio to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness,
• Research new suppliers, develop potential business partnerships, and identify suitable sourcing opportunities,
• Negotiate purchasing contracts and manage contract processes,
• Collaborate closely with sales teams to enhance supply chain processes,
• Resolve operational and quality issues while maintaining continuous communication with suppliers,
• Analyze domestic and global supply risks,
• Track market trends and changes in raw material prices,
• Develop product recommendations aligned with customer and production needs, and provide suppliers with accurate technical guidance,
• Organize regular supplier meetings to establish and maintain strong business relationships.

WQ Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field,
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Procurement, Product Sourcing, or Technical Sales within the Home & Living category,
• Knowledgeable about products and raw materials,
• Possesses strong negotiation, communication, and analytical thinking skills,
• Proficient in market research, cost analysis, and contract management,
• Fluent in English,
• Preferably has an existing portfolio in the related category,
• Team-oriented, results-driven, and dynamic in approach.
