Key ResponsibilitiesCurriculum Planning & Instruction
- Teach English Language (reading, writing, speaking, listening) following the IB PYP curriculum.
- Integrate English learning into Units of Inquiry (UOI) and transdisciplinary themes.
- Use inquiry-based strategies that spark curiosity and connect learning to real-life situations.
- Develop engaging lessons using stories, poems, phonics, vocabulary building, comprehension activities, and creative writing tasks.
- Use technology, manipulatives, and visual aids to support language acquisition.
Assessment & Documentation
- Conduct varied formative and summative assessments to track student progress.
- Maintain portfolios, evidence of learning, rubrics, and feedback as per IB guidelines.
- Provide timely feedback to support student growth in literacy skills.
Student Engagement & Development
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
- Encourage reading habits, expressive communication, and critical thinking.
- Guide students in self-reflection, peer feedback, and developing learner agency.
Classroom Environment
- Create a literacy-rich environment with reading corners, anchor charts, word walls, and displays.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and student-centered atmosphere.
Collaboration & School Participation
- Work collaboratively with homeroom and specialist teachers for integrated learning.
- Participate in IB training, workshops, planning meetings, and PYP exhibitions.
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
