IB PYP Homeroom Teacher – Job Description

Position: IB PYP Homeroom Teacher
Location: The HillRidge International school, Rasipuram.
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons following the IB PYP framework.
• Foster conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
• Support students' social, emotional, and academic development.
• Use formative and summative assessments to track progress.
• Maintain student records and report progress to parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and specialists.
• Engage in professional development and IB training.
• Promote IB learner profile attributes and Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or relevant field.
• Prior IB PYP teaching experience preferred. Freshers can also apply.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for inquiry-based, student-led learning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
