Python Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on expertise in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Python, SQL, relational databases, and data visualization tools, along with experience in CI/CD and containerization for scalable data workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ETL/ELT processes.
• Write advanced SQL queries, optimize performance, and implement indexing strategies.
• Work with relational databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Develop and deploy Python-based data processing scripts.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated data workflows.
• Containerize applications and workflows using Docker.
• Monitor and maintain data pipelines with proper logging and monitoring practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to design dashboards and reports in Power BI and Tableau.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL (advanced queries, optimization, indexing).
• Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data engineering.
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, etc.).
• Familiarity with big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,322.70 - ₹71,600.09 per month
