• We are looking for a Python Backend Engineer with hands-on experience integrating AI/ML and Generative AI features into production systems. The role focuses on building scalable APIs, integrating LLM-based capabilities, and shipping AI-powered features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend services for both standard applications and AI-powered solutions.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI / Flask / Django.
• Integrate pre-trained ML and LLM models into production systems for use cases like chat, search, summarization, and automation.
• Implement Generative AI workflows, including prompt design, embeddings, retrieval (RAG), and response handling.
• Work with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain or similar) to build maintainable AI pipelines.
• Develop agent-like workflows involving tool usage, multi-step execution, or task automation (rule-based or LLM-driven).
• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of AI-enabled services.
• Design and interact with SQL and NoSQL databases to support application and AI data needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Monitor AI system behavior and improve outputs based on real-world feedback.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python with solid OOP fundamentals.
• Experience building backend services using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Practical experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) or similar GenAI platforms.
• Understanding of Generative AI concepts: prompts, embeddings, inference, and basic evaluation.
• Experience integrating ML/AI models into production systems (training optional, integration mandatory).
• Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with LangChain or similar frameworks for LLM-based applications.
• Ability to read, understand, and improve existing AI/ML-driven systems.

Nice-to-Have :

• Knowledge of RAG systems, vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, including basic services for compute, storage, and deployment.
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and understanding of container-based deployments.
• Experience with asynchronous task processing and messaging queues (e.g., Celery workers with Redis/RabbitMQ).
