Python Developer with Docker

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and web development, with a focus on building robust applications and APIs. This role requires proficiency in Python and familiarity with various technologies including AWS, RESTful APIs, and Agile methodologies. As a Python Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.

Duties

• Develop and maintain scalable applications using Python and related technologies.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between systems.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Work within Agile frameworks to deliver high-quality software on time.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Utilize version control systems such as GitHub and SVN for source code management.
• Engage in continuous learning of new technologies and methodologies relevant to the role.

Description:
4-7 years of technical experience in Python
PHP, Javascript, Python
The entire system is deployed using Docker containers, coordinated via docker-compose. This ensures environmental isolation, consistent builds, and easy deployment.
PHP-fpm: Serves the PHP frontend, exposed via NGINX.
Python-API: Python backend API, handles all UI requests and business logic.
ldos-cron: Python-based cron jobs for scheduled exports, data refresh, and cleanup.
mariadb: Stores device vulnerability and remediation data (mounted with persistent volumes).
nginx: Serves frontend static files and routes /downloads/ to the export folder.
Code is stored in Git and candidate will need to understand CI/CD pipelines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
