Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize automation scripts using Python and Selenium to enhance system efficiency, streamline workflows, and perform web scraping tasks.
- Design, code, test, and debug complex software solutions, acting as a technical escalation point for junior engineers.
- Create and maintain dynamic, user-friendly front-end interfaces using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Collaborate with back-end services to ensure seamless integration, high performance, and scalability of full-stack applications.
- Identify and mitigate system risks, resolve intricate bugs, and escalate critical issues to maintain operational excellence.
- Mentor junior team members by providing technical guidance, code reviews, and feedback to support their professional development.
- Drive continuous improvement by proposing and implementing innovative solutions in collaboration with team leads and managers.
- Adhere to coding best practices, ensuring secure, maintainable, and scalable code that aligns with technical standards and project requirements.
- Work closely with QA, Product Managers, and Business Analysts to deliver high-quality solutions that meet deadlines and business objectives.
- Champion Agile Scrum methodologies, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and team goals while embracing adaptability.
- Analyze technical challenges and their impact on business operations, ensuring solutions align with organizational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience in software development).
- Expertise in Python programming, with a strong emphasis on automation and web scraping using Selenium, alongside libraries like BeautifulSoup or Scrapy.
- Proficiency in Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or similar MVC-based frameworks.
- Strong skills in React and JavaScript for building responsive, interactive front-end components.
- In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles for creating intuitive user interfaces.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and optimizing database queries for performance.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scripting for development and automation tasks.
- Proven ability to develop robust, transaction-based REST APIs for web services.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes for streamlined development pipelines.
- Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git, for collaborative development.
- Commitment to writing clean, secure, and efficient code with a focus on performance, scalability, and automation.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions under tight deadlines.
