Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Python/MLOps Engineer to join our team at Unidoc Healthcare Private Limited. In this role, you will work on innovative AI-driven solutions in the healthcare industry, focusing on the deployment, scaling, and monitoring of machine learning models for post-market surveillance and validation of radiology AI tools. As a Python/MLOps Engineer, you will collaborate with data scientists and developers to automate and optimize the full lifecycle of machine learning models, ensuring they operate efficiently in real-world healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications, tools, and services for AI model integration and validation.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable Python code for data processing, machine learning model implementation, and system integration.
• Implement machine learning algorithms and pipelines using Python libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.

MLOps Responsibilities:

• Automate and streamline the deployment and maintenance of machine learning models in production environments.
• Manage the model lifecycle, including versioning, monitoring, and retraining based on real-time healthcare data.
• Set up and scale infrastructure to support the training and deployment of AI models, ensuring they meet healthcare industry standards.

Collaboration & Documentation:

• Work closely with data science and development teams to transition machine learning models from development to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the deployment pipeline is efficient and reproducible.
• Document processes, model versions, and deployment strategies to ensure clarity in operations and model management.

Model Versioning & Experiment Tracking:

• Implement robust version control and experiment tracking for machine learning models and datasets using tools such as MLflow or DVC.
• Ensure reproducibility of experiments and maintain a structured environment for model evaluation and deployment.

Cloud & Infrastructure Management:

• Utilize cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure to manage and scale machine learning infrastructure.
• Implement containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for seamless model deployment and scaling.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Python development and software engineering.
• 1+ year of experience with MLOps practices and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Strong background in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Familiarity with machine learning lifecycle tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, DVC).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of model monitoring tools and practices (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and scalable infrastructure.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Vastral, Ahmedabad and engage closely with the development and operations teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
• Knowledge of distributed computing and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience working with large-scale data, especially in healthcare or AI/ML environments.
• Knowledge of AI governance, healthcare compliance standards, and model validation.
