QA Analyst

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Analyst with strong expertise in manual API testing and SQL querying, ideally within the insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of databases and backend testing methodologies.

Mandatory Skills:

• API Testing (Manual):
• Strong hands-on experience in testing REST and SOAP APIs manually using tools like Postman, SOAP UI, etc.
• Ability to validate request/response structures, status codes, and headers.
• Experience in writing and executing API test cases and scenarios.
• SQL & Database Testing:
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation and verification.
• Good understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Experience in verifying data integrity and backend validation.
• Insurance Domain Experience:
• Strong understanding of insurance processes and workflows.
• Experience working on insurance-related applications or platforms.
• Communication:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, BAs, and stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM)
• Knowledge of automation frameworks is a plus (but not mandatory)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for APIs and database layers
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and build effective test strategies
• Identify, document, and track defects; perform root cause analysis
• Validate data flow between frontend, APIs, and databases
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
