Lakes Region EMS is an Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance service with both rural and urban service areas just northeast of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. We operate bases in Rush City, North Branch, and Lindstrom, Minnesota, as well as St. Croix Falls and Milltown, Wisconsin. Our team takes great pride in delivering exceptional, compassionate care to our communities. Our ambulances are staffed by highly trained Paramedics and EMTs equipped to manage traumatic injuries, sudden illnesses, and complex medical emergencies.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our team, with a strong focus on data integrity, analysis, and continuous improvement. In the QA Analyst role, you are responsible for the ongoing review and evaluation of patient care reports completed by Paramedic and EMT personnel. This role focuses on data analysis to identify opportunities for individual and system-wide improvement, support targeted education initiatives, and drive continuous quality improvement across the organization.
Primary Responsibilities

Collaborate with members of the Clinical Department to evaluate and refine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for quality assurance.

Lead the analysis of QA metrics, including chart reviews, raw data analysis, and trend identification.

Provide timely and constructive feedback to ambulance personnel regarding clinical performance.

Assist in identifying training objectives and educational opportunities that align with the organization’s strategic goals.

Ensure accurate collection, tracking, and documentation of QA-related data.

Make recommendations to the Manager of Clinical Services and the Medical Director regarding quality improvement initiatives and individual performance improvement plans.
Secondary Responsibilities

Assist, as needed, in the planning, development, coordination, and implementation of clinical programs.

Utilize Power BI, Excel, or similar analytics tools to analyze clinical data.

Develop reports and dashboards to effectively communicate findings to internal stakeholders.

Assist the Education Department as needed.

- Current valid Driver’s License
- The ability to pass a pre-employment screening that includes a drug test, health assessment (i.e., health history and physical/lift assessment), background check, including MedEx Complete, and motor vehicle record check
