QA Associate – Leather Jackets

We are looking for a QA Associate to ensure that our leather jacket products meet the required quality standards at every stage of production. The role involves conducting inspections, identifying defects, maintaining quality records, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and supporting continuous improvement in product quality and consistency. This is an on-site role that requires travel to different locations as per production and inspection needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of leather jackets at different production stages, including material, cutting, stitching, finishing, and packaging.
• Identify defects, non-conformities, and quality issues, and report them to the concerned team for timely resolution.
• Ensure leather jacket products meet approved specifications, measurements, finishing standards, and overall workmanship requirements.
• Maintain inspection reports, defect records, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with production, supply chain, and relevant teams to resolve quality-related concerns.
• Support supplier quality checks and assist in supplier performance monitoring.
• Follow and implement quality control procedures to improve product consistency.
• Provide feedback for process improvements and help reduce repeated quality issues.
• Ensure only approved products are forwarded for dispatch or further processing.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in leather jacket quality assurance or quality control.
• Strong knowledge of leather jacket manufacturing, stitching, measurements, finishing, and packaging standards.
• Good understanding of leather quality, defects, workmanship, and production processes.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain quality records and inspection reports.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to different locations (suppliers, production units, warehouses) as required for inspections.
• Commitment to maintaining high product quality standards.
