Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of QA best practices and expertise in UI, API, and mobile test automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.

• Perform UI automation using Java + Selenium.

• Perform API automation using Java + Rest Assured.

• Execute mobile app test automation across Android/iOS platforms.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams to understand

requirements.

• Identify, log, and track defects; ensure timely resolution.

• Analyze testing needs and recommend automation approaches.

• Participate in test planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

• Ensure adherence to QA processes and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in QA Automation.

• Strong understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.

• Hands-on experience with:

o Java & Selenium for UI test automation

o Java & Rest Assured for API test automation

o Mobile app test automation (Appium preferred)

• Experience with test planning, execution, and reporting.

• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins) is an advantage.

• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors effectively.

Good to Have

• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.

• Knowledge of performance testing tools.

• Exposure to Cloud or container environments (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
