QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with JavaScript
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using tools like WebDriverIO, Playwright, or Cypress
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and test coverage
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA
• Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Ensure test automation best practices and code quality standards
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in QA Automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium using JavaScript
• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience with automation frameworks such as WebDriverIO, Cypress, or Playwright
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and DOM
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured (JS-based)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automation execution in pipelines
• Strong analytical and debugging skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹331,954.59 - ₹806,197.46 per year
