QA Automation Engineer- Playwright- Remote- Contract

About the Role:

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright for test automation, along with strong manual and automation testing experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in testing SaaS applications, preferably within the healthcare domain, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure, and reliable products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Perform manual testing where automation is not feasible to ensure product quality.
• Define and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test coverage.
• Set up and maintain test automation frameworks and ensure integration with CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using standard defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Ensure testing aligns with compliance and regulatory standards (especially in healthcare).
• Provide clear and detailed test reports, ensuring stakeholders are updated on quality metrics.
• Continuously enhance automation coverage and improve test efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing.
• Strong experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end automation.
• Good understanding of SaaS platforms and cloud-based architectures.
• Prior experience in healthcare domain applications (HIPAA compliance knowledge is a plus).
• Proficiency in creating test frameworks, test cases, and automation suites.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or Python for test scripting.
• Hands-on with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Job Types: Contractual / Temporary, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
