QA Document Control & HR Coordinator

Job Summary: A QA Document Control & HR Coordinator is a specialized administrative role that ensures both regulatory compliance for products/processes and adherence to personnel policies.

Job Duties:

Quality Assurance – Document Control (Primary Focus)

  • Maintain and control QA documentation, including SOPs, forms, logs, policies, and records
  • Ensure proper version control, document updates, approvals, and distribution
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems
  • Support internal audits and third-party audits (GFSI, FDA, customer audits, etc.)
  • Track corrective actions and maintain compliance records
  • Assist in updating food safety and quality documentation as needed
  • Coordinate document retention in compliance with regulatory requirements

Human Resources Support (Partial Allocation of Time)

  • Assist with onboarding and new hire documentation
  • Maintain employee records in compliance with labor regulations
  • Support training record management and tracking
  • Help coordinate employee communications and HR documentation
  • Support payroll data preparation in ADP.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Manage Leave pf absences.
  • Stay informed of state and federal law to ensure compliance.
  • Submit all and accurate hours worked on a daily basis, accounting for required breaks and meal periods.
  • Work independently and productively while still keeping open communication with others.
  • Delivers honest and reliable communication with all individuals with whom they interact.
  • Effectively manage time to avoid backtracking and delay of tasks.
  • Consistently contributes to a safe and positive work environment, abiding by the policies and following procedures at all times.
  • Regular attendance and timeliness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or otherwise identified.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, HR, Food Science, or related field)
  • 2+ years of experience in administrative, HR, QA, or document control roles
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, document management systems)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Ability and desire to multitask and prioritize multiple duties and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and delegate multiple tasks of high importance
  • Work independently and take initiative to accomplish directives with minimal supervision
  • Be reliable, honest, and work well with others
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Strong leadership skills, adaptive leadership style, and business acumen

Pay: $25.34 - $30.51 per hour
