Job Summary: A QA Document Control & HR Coordinator is a specialized administrative role that ensures both regulatory compliance for products/processes and adherence to personnel policies.
Job Duties:
Quality Assurance – Document Control (Primary Focus)
- Maintain and control QA documentation, including SOPs, forms, logs, policies, and records
- Ensure proper version control, document updates, approvals, and distribution
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems
- Support internal audits and third-party audits (GFSI, FDA, customer audits, etc.)
- Track corrective actions and maintain compliance records
- Assist in updating food safety and quality documentation as needed
- Coordinate document retention in compliance with regulatory requirements
Human Resources Support (Partial Allocation of Time)
- Assist with onboarding and new hire documentation
- Maintain employee records in compliance with labor regulations
- Support training record management and tracking
- Help coordinate employee communications and HR documentation
- Support payroll data preparation in ADP.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Manage Leave pf absences.
- Stay informed of state and federal law to ensure compliance.
- Submit all and accurate hours worked on a daily basis, accounting for required breaks and meal periods.
- Work independently and productively while still keeping open communication with others.
- Delivers honest and reliable communication with all individuals with whom they interact.
- Effectively manage time to avoid backtracking and delay of tasks.
- Consistently contributes to a safe and positive work environment, abiding by the policies and following procedures at all times.
- Regular attendance and timeliness.
- Perform other duties as assigned or otherwise identified.
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, HR, Food Science, or related field)
- 2+ years of experience in administrative, HR, QA, or document control roles
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, document management systems)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Ability and desire to multitask and prioritize multiple duties and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to manage, prioritize, and delegate multiple tasks of high importance

Pay: $25.34 - $30.51 per hour
