QA Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Tester with a strong technology

background to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our financial technology products. This

role involves working closely with engineering and product teams in an agile, sprint-based environment to

maintain high quality standards across internal systems and customer-facing platforms.

What You’ll Do

 Design, execute, and maintain test plans for new features, enhancements, and releases

 Perform manual and automated testing across web applications, APIs, and backend services

 Develop and maintain automation scripts using JavaScript and/or Python

 Validate feature releases for functionality, performance, and regression stability

 Ensure consistent quality standards across all internal and external products

 Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams throughout the sprint

lifecycle

 Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution

 Review and assess code quality and security findings using tools such as SonarQube

What We’re Looking For

 Strong technology or engineering background, preferably in fintech or regulated environments

 Hands-on experience with QA methodologies including functional, regression, and integration

testing

 Experience writing and maintaining automation scripts using JavaScript and/or Python

 Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and API testing concepts

 Basic working knowledge of SQL for data validation and verification

 Familiarity with SonarQube or similar code quality and security tools

 Experience working in Agile / Scrum sprint-based development environments

 Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and quality.

Preferred (Good to Have)

Exposure to performance or stress testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Locust

 Basic understanding of security testing principles, including OWASP guidelines, vulnerability

scanning, and secure testing practices

 Prior exposure to financial services, payment systems, remittance platforms, or

cryptocurrency solutions
