QA Engineer

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate should have experience in manual testing, API testing, and basic knowledge of testing tools such as Postman and JMeter, while working closely with the development team.

Responsibility

Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications

Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans

Conduct API testing using Postman

Perform basic performance testing using JMeter

Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools

Work closely with developers to verify bug fixes

Execute regression, smoke, and functional testing

Review requirements to ensure complete test coverage

Prepare and maintain QA documentation and test reports

Requirements

6 months to 1 year of experience in Software Quality Assurance

Strong understanding of manual testing concepts

Hands-on experience with API testing

Familiarity with Postman for API validation

Basic knowledge of JMeter for performance testing

Understanding of SDLC and STLC

Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Trello, etc.)

Good communication and analytical skills
