QA Engineer (Automation + Manual)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically sound QA Engineer ( Automation + Testing) with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate should have contributed to automation in at least 3 projects and be familiar with QA processes, usability standards, and project management tools like JIRA. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
• Ensure software products meet high standards of usability, functionality, and reliability.
• Perform black box, functional, and usability testing on web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and data operations team to address bugs and quality concerns.
• Log and manage issues efficiently using JIRA or similar project management tools.
• Apply critical thinking to optimize workflows and identify edge cases and potential pitfalls.
• Stay updated with evolving QA tools, techniques, and industry best practices.

Key Requirements: Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience with at least 3 automation projects completed.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in QA automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience with JIRA or similar issue/project tracking systems.
• Understanding of usability standards and functional testing principles.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Attributes:

• Hands-on experience with writing scripts for automation and creating test plans.
• Exposure to workflow design and third-party tool integrations.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills.
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement, collaboration, and user empathy.
