QA Engineer / SDET (Manual & Automation Testing – Mobile App )

About the Role

We are seeking a QA Engineer / SDET with expertise in Manual & Automation Testing to ensure the quality of our MERN stack web applications and Flutter mobile apps (App testing is mandatory). You will design test strategies, execute test cases, build automation scripts, and collaborate with developers to deliver seamless user experiences across platforms.

As an SDET, you will also be responsible for developing and maintaining automation frameworks and scripts, integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring code-level quality validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Create test plans, test cases, and execute functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, cross-browser/device, and UAT testing.
• Perform API testing (REST/GraphQL) with Postman/Swagger.
• Conduct exploratory testing and track/report defects using JIRA/Trello/GitHub.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Flutter Driver).
• Automate UI, API & regression tests; integrate into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Perform performance/load testing with JMeter/Locust.
• Ensure end-to-end QA coverage, enforce best practices, and continuously improve QA processes.
• Strong focus on mobile app automation testing (Flutter/Android/iOS) using Appium or Flutter Driver.
• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for both web and mobile apps.
• Develop code-based test scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript/Python for UI, API, and regression testing.
• Ensure complete automation coverage and integrate with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Work closely with developers to debug app and backend issues at the code level.

Required Skills

• 2–5 years in Manual + Automation Testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC, Agile/Scrum.
• Experience in Web (MERN) & Mobile (Flutter – Android/iOS) testing.
• Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Flutter Testing).
• Hands-on with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) & CI/CD.
• DB knowledge (MongoDB, MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Good understanding of performance & security testing.
• Mandatory experience in mobile app testing and automation (Flutter/Android/iOS).
• Experience in SDET-level responsibilities (building frameworks, writing test scripts, integrating CI/CD).
• Familiarity with Appium, Flutter Driver, Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium for automation.
• Experience using Git, Jenkins, and test automation reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of code debugging, API validations, and test data management.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cloud (AWS/DigitalOcean/GCP), Git, Docker/Kubernetes, Test Management tools, and Accessibility testing.
• Knowledge of cloud-based mobile testing (BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm).
• Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes for containerized testing.
