What you will be doing:

. Perform in process and final inspections on materials and welds

. Read and interpret blue prints, weld symbols, and WPS documents

. Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards

. Inspect weld quality and identify defects or non-conformances

. Use measuring tools, weld gauges, and inspection equipment

. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

2+ years of QA inspection experience (welding focus preferred)

Working knowledge of welding processes and terminology

Strong attention to detail and communications skills

Reliable and able to work in a team environment

Experience in shipbuilding fabrication

Familiarity with NDT methods (VT,PT,MT, UT)

Experience with military or Navsea standards

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
