We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our Quality Assurance team for our cutting-edge Buildings AI application. As a QA Intern, you will collaborate with developers, product managers, and the QA team to ensure our building simulation and AI-powered tools meet the highest quality standards before reaching our users.
Responsibilities- Design and execute comprehensive test cases for the Buildings AI platform, including
BIM/HVAC configurator, load and energy simulations, and PDF2BIM workflows
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, performance issues, and usability
concerns
- Log defects with detailed reproduction steps, screenshots, and expected vs actual results
- Validate AI-powered features like Buildings AI Assistant and Report Assistant
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives within an Agile development
environment
- Partner with developers and product managers to improve test coverage, processes, and
product quality
- Document test results and prepare QA reports
Requirements
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related
technical field
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and testing lifecycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Willingness to learn advanced concepts in building simulation technology
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Nice To Have
- Understanding of test automation frameworks or scripting languages
- Exposure to BIM tools (Revit) or energy simulation software (OpenStudio, EnergyPlus)
- Knowledge of building systems and HVAC concept
