QA - Raw Material Tech

Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect all incoming raw materials to confirm all requirements are met and complete Incoming Inspection Report, record information for meat items in USDA Meat Log.
Pull a small sample of any new supplier lot numbers for evaluation and a large sample of any product with a size or weight requirement in the specification for an audit.
If raw material does not meet specification requirements, reject product or place on hold.
Use large sample pulled to perform an audit, record the information on the correct audit form and send out results to R&D Director, Purchasing and QA Management.
Conduct a Raw Material Cutting weekly.
Match COA’s received prior to product delivery to any product delivered daily and record in COA Books.
You spend a large part of your time working with Warehouse Employees and Supervisors. You must have the ability to communicate with all departments and/or Senior Management.
You must have the patience to gather information, listen and check before making judgments.
