QA / Test Engineer

Overview
Rajveer Ltd. is seeking a meticulous IT QA /* Test Engineer* to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through thorough testing and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing (functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT).
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Report, track, and verify defects using issue-tracking tools (Jira, GitHub Issues, or equivalent).
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain test documentation, test data, and test environments.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines to run automated tests and enforce quality gates.
• Conduct performance and load testing as needed.
• Recommend process and tooling improvements to raise product quality and reduce defects.
• Mentor junior QA staff and participate in code and test reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience in software QA/testing roles.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) and test runners.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA best practices.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or similar) for test automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and version control (Git).
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) and database testing (SQL).
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills.
• Certifications (ISTQB) are a plus.
• English proficiency; Arabic is advantageous.

Salary
45–110 SAR per hour (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
