QA Tester (with DevOps Knowledge - Arabic Speakers Only)

About the Role :

We are looking for a QA Tester with good DevOps understanding to join our technical team.

You will focus on testing backend systems, APIs, web dashboards, and integrations built using Laravel (PHP) and Python, while assisting in deployment and CI/CD processes.

This role suits someone who can think like a developer, test like a hacker, and deploy like a pro — ensuring our systems remain stable, fast, and reliable across all environments.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Quality Assurance

- Conduct functional testing for new modules, dashboards, and system features.

- Perform API testing using tools like Postman to validate endpoints, authentication, and data accuracy.

- Execute integration testing between Laravel backend, Python services, and external APIs.

- Carry out regression testing before each release to ensure no new bugs are introduced.

- Implement database testing (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to verify queries, migrations, and data integrity.

- Run UI/UX validation tests for web interfaces, ensuring layout and functionality are consistent.

- Perform performance and load testing on critical endpoints and background jobs.

- Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with internal stakeholders to validate final releases.

- Maintain clear test documentation, including test cases, test results, and bug reports.

DevOps & Deployment Support

- Work with developers on Git-based version control and branching workflows.

- Monitor build pipelines and verify successful deployments to staging and production.

- Support CI/CD setup using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools.

- Participate in post-deployment validation to confirm production readiness.

Required Skills

- 3–4 years of experience in QA testing (preferably for backend-heavy web systems).

- Solid knowledge of Laravel (PHP) and Python application structures.

- Proficient in API testing and database validation.

- Familiar with Git, GitHub Actions, Nginx, and Ubuntu servers.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for both code-level and system-level bugs.

- Comfortable reading developer logs and testing RESTful endpoints.

Bonus Skills

- Experience with Docker, AWS EC2, or cloud-based testing pipelines.

- Experience with Postman Collections, Swagger, or JMeter.

- Understanding of error monitoring tools (Sentry, PM2 logs, etc.).
