QA/QC Civil Engineer

Job Overview

Responsible for ensuring quality compliance of all civil works related to substations, including foundations, structures, and infrastructure works, in line with SEC standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement QA/QC procedures for civil works
• Review drawings, BOQ, and specifications
• Conduct inspections (concrete, excavation, backfilling, steel works)
• Prepare ITPs, method statements, and quality reports
• Ensure compliance with SEC and project specifications
• Coordinate with site engineers and consultants
• Monitor subcontractors’ work quality
• Handle NCRs and corrective actions
  
  

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience, including substation projects
• SEC approval required
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems and civil standards
• Experience in concrete works, foundations, and structural works
• Familiar with testing procedures (soil, concrete, etc.)
• Good reporting and documentation skills
