QA/QC Engineer

Responsible for ensuring that all products, processes, and services meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This involves developing and implementing quality management systems, conducting audits, overseeing inspections, and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement. Role in risk assessment, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Management System Implementation:Establishing and maintaining a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
• Document Review and Approval:Reviewing and approving quality-related documents such as Project Quality Plans (PQPs), Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Material Specifications, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Vendor and Contractor Oversight:Monitoring and auditing the quality of work performed by vendors, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Inspection and Testing Oversight:Ensuring that all inspection and testing activities are conducted according to established procedures and standards, and that results are properly documented.
• Quality Audits:Conducting regular audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and identify areas for improvement.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyzing quality data, preparing reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), and identifying trends and areas for corrective and preventive actions.
• Compliance with Standards:Ensuring that all operations and activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and project-specific requirements.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation:Identifying potential risks associated with materials, equipment, and processes, and developing mitigation plans.
• Stakeholder Communication:Liaising with project stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams, to address quality-related issues and ensure smooth coordination.
• Training and Awareness:Educating personnel on quality management system requirements and promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree:A bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on quality management or a related field.
• Experience in Oil and Gas:ATLEAST 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of Industry Standards:Familiarity with relevant industry standards, such as ISO 9001, API standards, and other relevant codes and regulations.
• Technical Expertise:Strong understanding of welding, NDT methods, and other relevant technical disciplines.
• Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions to quality-related problems.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve quality-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Proficiency in QA/QC Documentation:Experience in preparing and reviewing quality-related documents, such as PQPs, ITPs, and NCRs.
• Auditing Skills:Experience in conducting quality audits and preparing audit reports.
• Stakeholder Management:Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
