Senior QA/QC EngineerJob Overview:

The Senior QA/QC Engineer is responsible for managing and ensuring the quality and compliance of all project activities in accordance with applicable standards, specifications, and contractual requirements. This role involves developing, implementing, and continuously improving quality systems, as well as supervising inspections, testing, and documentation processes. The position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) procedures and leadership in guiding teams towards excellence in quality performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans and procedures.
• Monitor all quality-related activities on the project site.
• Review and approve QA/QC documentation, including method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), checklists, and reports.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors regarding quality issues and inspections.
• Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards and company procedures.
• Identify and resolve non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation for project handover.
• Supervise and mentor QA/QC staff and provide training where necessary.
• Ensure materials and workmanship meet specifications and regulatory standards.
• Generate regular reports on quality performance and site issues to management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical field).
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in QA/QC, with at least 3–5 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and QA/QC methodologies.
• Familiarity with construction standards (ASME, ASTM, ACI, etc.) and project specifications.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in quality management software and MS Office Suite.
• Certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Having CSWIP Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

• Sharjah: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• QAQC ENGINEER: 6 years (Preferred)
