The QA/QC Engineer/Lead will be responsible for:
- Quality Planning & Documentation
- Develop and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and Method Statements in accordance with project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with company and client QA/QC policies and procedures.
- Inspection & Testing
- Perform quality control inspections on civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works (as applicable to project scope).
- Coordinate laboratory and field-testing activities for materials, concrete, welding, coating, and other project components.
- Witness and verify all inspections in line with approved ITPs and standards.
- Compliance & Standards
- Ensure full adherence to applicable codes, standards, and specifications including:
- ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems)
- ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management Systems)
- ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety)
- ASTM, ACI, BS, API, and ASME relevant to project discipline
- Royal Commission (RCRC) standards (for applicable projects)
- Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
- Identify, document, and close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions and define corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Audits & Reporting
- Conduct internal and external QA/QC audits.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports including material traceability, inspection logs, and quality dashboards.
- Coordination & Interface
- Work closely with HSE, Construction, and Project Management teams to ensure integrated quality management.
- Liaise with client QA/QC representatives for inspections and approvals.
