QA/QC Engineer

Position: QA/QC Engineer – Joinery & Fit-Out
Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer (Joinery Division) to ensure all joinery, carpentry, and fit-out works meet project specifications and industry quality standards. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in woodworks, doors, wardrobes, kitchens, and custom joinery fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify joinery works, materials, finishes, and fabrication quality at factory and site.
• Review drawings, material specifications, and project requirements to ensure compliance.
• Prepare ITPs, method statements, quality checklists, NCRs, and daily QA/QC reports.
• Conduct inspections for carpentry works: doors, cabinets, wardrobes, counters, panels, and custom furniture.
• Ensure all finished items meet required measurements, tolerances, and aesthetic standards.
• Monitor factory production processes and ensure adherence to quality procedures.
• Coordinate with production teams, site supervisors, project managers, and subcontractors on quality issues.
• Identify non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct final inspections before delivery and installation at the project site.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil/Architecture/Interior or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of QA/QC experience in joinery or fit-out.
• Strong knowledge of joinery materials (MDF, veneer, solid wood, HPL, hardware).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in both factory and onsite inspection is preferred.
