QA/QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with ISO 9001 standards and local regulations (e.g., DEWA, FEWA).
• Conduct inspections of materials, workmanship, and processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Review and interpret shop drawings, method statements, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and project managers on quality-related issues.
• Maintain detailed QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports and non-conformance records.
• Lead or participate in weekly QA/QC meetings with site teams and stakeholders.
• Liaise with clients and consultants regarding quality concerns and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional certifications preferred: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in civil construction QA/QC roles (UAE experience preferred).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and QA/QC software tools.
