QA/QC Engineer – Schools Project (Job Description)

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) as per project specifications and consultant requirements.
• Conduct inspection of materials and installation works (HVAC, BMS, Electrical, etc.) to ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards.
• Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs) and coordinate with consultant/client for approvals.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals before execution.
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, BOQ, and international standards.
• Monitor site activities to ensure proper workmanship and quality control procedures are followed.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, including checklists, reports, test certificates, and inspection records.
• Conduct material receiving inspections (MRI) and verify delivered materials with approved submittals.
• Identify non-conformities (NCR) and follow up for corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure proper testing & commissioning inspections are carried out and documented.
• Prepare snag lists and ensure timely closure before project handover.
• Maintain records for as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and final documentation.

Skills & Requirements:

• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ISO standards, and inspection processes.
• Experience in schools or building construction projects (HVAC, BMS preferred).
• Familiar with consultant approvals, inspections, and documentation flow.
• Good understanding of drawings, specifications, and BOQ.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Pay: From QAR3,000.00 per month
