QA/QC Engineer

QA/QC Engineer – Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures.
Review project specifications, drawings, and contract requirements.
Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
Conduct inspections of materials, workmanship, and completed works.
Ensure all works comply with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
Monitor construction activities to ensure quality requirements are met.
Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors on quality matters.
Verify material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
Witness testing and commissioning activities.
Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and test results.
Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits.
Identify quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with quality management systems and company policies.
Monitor calibration and maintenance of testing and measuring equipment.
Participate in project progress meetings and quality review meetings.
Provide quality-related training and guidance to site personnel.
Ensure timely closure of quality observations and defects.
Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports for management.
Promote continuous improvement and best quality practices across projects.
