Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified QA/QC Engineer for the Labor Camp EPC project in UAE.

The candidate will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the project Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality System Establishment

•Prepare and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP)

•Develop and manage:Method Statements (MS),Inspection & Test Plans (ITP),Quality procedures and inspection checklists,Ensure alignment with:Project specifications

,UAE authority requirements (Municipality, Civil Defence),Applicable standards (ASTM / BS / EN)

2. Material & Submittal Control

•Review and prepare Material Submittals, ensuring compliance with specs

•Coordinate with suppliers for:Technical datasheets,Test reports (fire rating / insulation / structure, etc.),Follow up consultant approvals and close comments

3. Site Inspection & Quality Control

Conduct inspections for:Civil works (foundation, road, drainage)

Modular installation (container / prefab units)

MEP works (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)

• Raise and manage:

• Inspection Requests (IR)

• Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)

• Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings and method statements

4. Quality Issue Management

Identify quality issues and deviations

Issue NCR and follow up corrective actions

Verify and close NCRs

Maintain proper records for audit and claims support

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain quality records including:

• Inspection reports

• Test reports

• Material approvals

• Prepare:

• Weekly / Monthly Quality Reports

• Ensure all documentation is properly filed and traceable

6. Coordination & Interface

Coordinate with:

• EPC team / Construction team

• Consultant

• Client / Authority inspectors

• Support site team in resolving quality-related issues

7. Testing & Commissioning Support

Coordinate site testing:

• Material tests

• System testing (MEP, fire systems)

• Assist in:

• Pre-commissioning

• Final inspection

• Handover documentation

Qualifications

1,Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

2,Minimum 5–8 years QA/QC experience, preferably in:

• Labor Camp / Modular buildings / EPC projects

• Familiar with:

• ASTM / BS / EN standards

• UAE approval process (Municipality / Civil Defence preferred)

• Strong experience in:

• PQP / MS / ITP preparation

• Site inspection & NCR management

Skills

• Strong documentation and reporting skills

• Good communication with Consultant & Client

• Ability to work under pressure in site environment

• English required

Preferred

• Experience in modular / prefab / container buildings

• Experience with fire-rated systems / Civil Defence approvals

• Previously worked in Abu Dhabi projects
