QA/QC Engineer - Civil Construction

Position : QA/QC Engineer - Civil Construction

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and contracts to ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of construction materials and workmanship.
• Prepare inspection and test plans (ITPs) and ensure their implementation on-site.
• Monitor and document all quality-related activities on the project site.
• Identify and report non-conformities and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken.
• Coordinate with third-party inspectors, consultants, and testing laboratories.
• Maintain quality control documentation including test reports, inspection logs, and material approvals.
• Support audits and quality reviews as required by the client or project.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of site personnel on QA/QC practices.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations related to quality control activities.

Qualifications & Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5 years of relevant QA/QC UAE experience in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of construction standards, codes and QA/QC procedures.
• Familiarity with construction materials testing (concrete, steel, soil, etc.).
• Experience with documentation and reporting systems related to quality control..
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and under pressure.

• Good communication skills.
• A multitasker who can handle the nuances of a building construction project.
