QA/QC Engineer (Civil / Architectural / MEP) – Qatar

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled QA/QC Engineer with expertise in Civil, Architectural, or MEP disciplines to ensure that all project activities meet the required quality standards and comply with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and project requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent inspection skills, and experience working within the Qatar construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and monitor project Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans
• Conduct inspections for civil, architectural, and/or MEP works as per approved drawings and project specifications
• Ensure compliance with QCS, local regulations, and client quality requirements
• Review and approve method statements, ITPs, material submittals, and shop drawings
• Prepare quality reports, NCRs, SORs, and follow up on corrective actions
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams
• Monitor site activities and ensure proper documentation and testing procedures
• Lead internal audits and support external audits as required
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and quality standards

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 8yrs experience preferred
• Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in construction projects (Civil/Architectural/MEP)
• Strong knowledge of QCS, QA/QC procedures, and international standards
• Experience in preparing and reviewing QA/QC documents (ITPs, MIRs, RFI, Calibration Records, etc.)
• Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation skills
• Proficiency in engineering software and MS Office
• Ability to coordinate and work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
• UPDA/MMUP Engineer Grade (mandatory)
• Transferable visa with NOC is required
• Previous Qatar experience preferred\
• PREFFERABLY FROM: PHILIPPINES OR INDIA
