QA/QC Engineer (Construction)

We are seeking a skilled QA/QC Engineer with strong experience in villa construction and high-rise building projects in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring all site works meet the established quality standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain project quality plans, ITPs, method statements, and QA/QC procedures.
• Perform daily inspections for civil, architectural, and MEP works as per project standards.
• Review and verify material approvals (MARs), technical submittals, shop drawings, and compliance reports.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to UAE codes, project specifications, and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-inspection, in-progress inspection, and final inspection for villas and high-rise structures.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams for quality-related issues and NCR closures.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation including RFI, MIR, WIR, NCR, SOR, checklists, and test reports.
• Ensure proper implementation of testing and commissioning procedures.
• Conduct audits and quality meetings to achieve continuous improvement.
• Support handover process by preparing final QA/QC documentation and as-built records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
• 5–10+ years UAE experience in QA/QC for villa and high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, ADNOC, and other UAE authority standards.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Immediate joiner preferred.
