QA/QC Engineer (Infrastructure)

Responsibility :

· Ensure all earthwork activities comply with project specifications, contract requirements, and local authority standards

· Conduct routine inspections for excavation, filling, backfilling, grading, and compaction works.

· Verify materials used for earthworks (fill material, subgrade, sub-base) meet approved standards and specifications.

· Coordinate and witness field and laboratory tests such as Field Density Test (FDT), and Proctor Compaction Test,

· Review and approve test results, ensuring compliance with specified requirements.

· Competent in MIR, WIR, ITP, NCR, and as-built documentation.

· Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation such as Test reports, Material approvals

· Ensure proper filing and traceability of quality records.

· Assist in preparation of handover and as-built documentation related to earthworks.

· Support audits and inspections conducted by clients, consultants, or regulatory authorities.

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports related to earthworks.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

· Minimum 4 years of experience in infrastructure projects, with strong exposure to earthworks.

· Strong knowledge of earthwork specifications, compaction requirements, and testing standards.
