Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated QA/QC Engineer to join our team and support the quality assurance and quality control efforts for our interior fit-out and civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have at least a mid-level of experience in quality management within the construction industry, specifically in civil works and interior fit-outs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all construction activities, including interior fit-out and civil works, are executed in accordance with project specifications, contract requirements, and relevant standards.
• Implement and maintain the QA/QC processes, procedures, and checklists, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests on-site to verify the quality of materials and workmanship.
• Monitor project progress and identify any potential quality issues early, providing solutions to mitigate risks.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and any quality-related documentation.
• Prepare and submit quality-related reports, including non-conformance reports (NCRs), inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality control checklists.
• Assist in the preparation of project quality documentation and ensure that all required documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
• Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project quality standards are met.
• Attend regular project meetings and provide updates on quality performance, issues, and resolutions.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of materials used in the project.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in audits and inspections by third-party agencies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the QA/QC systems and contribute to the development of best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to QA/QC in the construction industry.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in QA/QC roles, specifically in interior fit-out and civil projects.
• Familiarity with construction quality management systems, relevant standards, and codes.
• Experience with quality inspection techniques, material testing, and non-destructive testing methods.
• Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and other relevant quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in quality management systems or QA/QC-related fields (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001).
• Experience with software tools related to QA/QC (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
• Previous experience in high-end interior fit-out projects or large-scale civil works.
