Job Title: Material Engineer – Interior Fit-Out (QA/QC)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Material Engineer to manage material submittals and approvals for interior fit-out projects. The role is responsible for ensuring that all proposed materials comply with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and client requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in material submittals for interior fit-out works, with the ability to coordinate closely with design, procurement, project, and QA/QC teams to ensure timely approvals and smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit material submittals for interior fit-out projects
• Ensure all materials comply with project specifications, approved drawings, BOQs, and client requirements
• Coordinate with design, procurement, project, and QA/QC teams on material selection and approvals
• Follow up with consultants and clients on submitted materials to secure timely approvals
• Maintain accurate records of material submittals, approvals, samples, and related documentation
• Verify that only approved materials are used in project execution
• Review technical data sheets, product specifications, and supporting documents before submission
• Coordinate sample submissions and mock-up approvals where required
• Support QA/QC compliance by ensuring materials meet quality and project standards
• Track pending submissions and highlight delays or issues that may affect project timelines
• Assist in resolving material-related technical issues during project execution

Requirements

• Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Minimum 5 years of experience in material submittals for interior fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, and approval processes
• Proficient in relevant software
• Fluent in English
• Good coordination, documentation, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple submissions accurately

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on commercial, residential, or high-end interior fit-out projects
• Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and material compliance processes
• Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, and internal project teams
• GCC experience is an advantage, if relevant to your market

Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
