QA/QC Engineer (MEP)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our MEP Department, specializing in high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering and possess extensive experience in quality assurance and quality control within the MEP sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures and plans for MEP works to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct inspections and testing of materials, equipment, and installations to verify conformity to design specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the project management team, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve quality-related issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
• Prepare and maintain detailed QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and quality performance metrics.
• Monitor and oversee MEP installations to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with other departments to align QA/QC processes and support the overall quality management system of the project.
• Participate in internal and external audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the QA/QC processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance and training to the project team and subcontractors on quality standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the MEP sector, specifically with high-rise building projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, quality management standards, and relevant regulations in the UAE.
• Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Certification in quality management, such as ISO 9001, is a plus.
