Job Description – QA/QC Engineer (Precast Factory)

Position: QA/QC Engineer – Precast Concrete
Location: Ajman
Industry: Precast Concrete / Construction Manufacturing
Experience Required: Minimum 6 years total experience in QA/QC, with strong end-to-end experience in precast factory operations.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer for our precast concrete factory in Ajman. The candidate must have complete end-to-end experience in precast factory quality control and assurance activities, from raw material inspection to final product dispatch.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in precast production, concrete testing, inspection procedures, and quality documentation while ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures for precast concrete production.
• Conduct inspection of raw materials including cement, aggregates, reinforcement, admixtures, and embedded items.
• Perform mold inspection, reinforcement inspection, and pre-pour inspections.
• Monitor batching, concrete pouring, curing, demolding, finishing, and storage activities.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and method statements.
• Conduct concrete tests including slump test, cube casting, compressive strength testing, and related documentation.
• Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality records.
• Coordinate with production, planning, consultants, and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure proper calibration of testing equipment and maintain QA/QC documentation.
• Conduct final inspection before delivery and dispatch of precast elements.
• Support implementation of ISO quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of QA/QC experience in precast concrete factory operations.
• Must have complete end-to-end precast factory QA/QC experience.
• Strong knowledge of concrete technology, precast production, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with ASTM, BS, ACI, PCI, or equivalent standards.
• Experience in handling inspections, testing procedures, and quality documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC reporting.

Preferred

• UAE/GCC precast factory experience preferred.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification is an advantage.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
