QA/QC Engineer – Structural Steel

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer – Structural Steel to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in structural steel fabrication, erection, and inspection activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and uphold the project’s Quality Management System in accordance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and standards to ensure full compliance for all structural steel works.
• Perform inspections and tests on incoming materials, fabricated components, and on-site installations.
• Prepare, update, and maintain all QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, test records, NCRs, and corrective action reports.
• Coordinate with internal project teams, clients, and third-party inspectors to facilitate efficient quality control processes.
• Oversee welding, bolting, and coating operations to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Ensure all inspection and testing equipment is properly calibrated.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams and subcontractors on quality-related issues.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of any audit findings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 2+ years of UAE experience in QA/QC roles for structural steel projects.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of international standards such as AWS D1.1, AISC, ASTM, BS EN, and ISO.
• Proficient in preparing and reviewing ITPs, method statements, and material submittals.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
