QA/QC Inspector

• Inspect ongoing fit-out works including gypsum partitions & ceilings, joinery, carpentry, flooring, tiling, painting, MEP coordination, and finishes.
• Ensure works comply with approved shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and project specifications.
• Conduct incoming material inspections and verify materials are approved before installation.
• Prepare and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and Quality Checklists.
• Identify non-conformities, issue NCRs, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives during inspections.
• Participate in consultant/client inspections and ensure timely clearance of observations.
• Maintain proper QA/QC documentation, including daily inspection reports, snag lists, and handover dossiers.
• Monitor workmanship quality and ensure adherence to HSE and quality standards.
• Support project close-out activities including snagging, de-snagging, and final handover.

UAE Experience 2 -3 Years in Fitout

• The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all interior fit-out works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. This role involves inspections, documentation, coordination with site teams, and ensuring high-quality workmanship across all interior finishes.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Inspection

• Inspect interior fit-out works including gypsum partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, painting, wall finishes, furniture, fixtures, and accessories (FF&E).
• Ensure works comply with approved shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and project specifications.
• Conduct daily site inspections and identify non-conformances.
• Issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

Material & Workmanship Control

• Verify delivered materials against approved material submittals and specifications.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and installation of materials.
• Monitor workmanship quality to ensure finishing standards are met.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare inspection requests (IRs) and coordinate inspections with consultants/clients.
• Maintain QA/QC records including inspection reports, checklists, test reports, and approvals.
• Assist in preparation of handover documents and as-built records.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and project managers to resolve quality issues.
• Attend site meetings related to quality and inspections.
• Provide guidance to site teams on quality standards and best practices.

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure compliance with ISO quality procedures (if applicable).
• Ensure adherence to local authority regulations, safety standards, and project quality plans.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior fit-out or finishing works.
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and installation methods.
• Experience working with consultants and clients for inspections and approvals
