QA/QC Inspector

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing inspections on coated parts at all stages of production, including incoming, in-process, and final acceptance. This role ensures that all products meet customer-specified requirements by identifying non-compliant items and driving continuous improvement in quality standards

Responsibilities:
-· Perform in-coming and final inspection on coated parts: dimensional, coating thickness, surface finish

· Demonstrated knowledge with the use of OD & ID micrometers, bore gauges, coating thickness gauge, profilometer

· Ability to read and understand dimensional drawings, specifications, and technical standards

· Ability to ensure that all customer requirements/specifications are met per purchase order, work instructions, drawings,

· Reject non-conforming parts using NC process and verify resolution prior to final acceptance

· Ensure inspections are completed in a timely manner to meet on-time delivery goals

· Work safely, and maintain a clean work environment with proper maintenance of inspection equipment

· Abide by all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in quality assurance or inspection preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of quality control techniques and tools
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and industry standards
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Previous Ball Valve inspections preferred
