QA/QC Inspector - Coating

Job Summary

We are currently hiring an experienced Coating Inspector for an Oil & Gas project in Qatar. The candidate must be locally available, hold a valid QID with NOC, and be ready for immediate joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor surface preparation, painting, and coating activities in accordance with approved procedures and specifications
• Ensure compliance with project requirements and international standards during coating application
• Conduct inspections for:
• Surface preparation (blasting, cleaning, profiling)
• Environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, dew point)
• Dry Film Thickness (DFT), adhesion, and holiday testing
• Inspect coatings applied to piping, structural steel, tanks, vessels, and mechanical equipment
• Review and implement coating ITPs, method statements, and quality plans
• Identify non-conformances and ensure timely corrective actions
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and QA/QC documentation
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams, site engineers, and client representatives

Requirements

• Valid NACE International Level 3 OR BGAS Grade 1 certification (mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas / EPC projects
• Strong knowledge of coating systems, materials, and inspection techniques
• Familiar with ISO, NACE, SSPC, and ASTM standards
• Locally available in Qatar
• Valid QID with NOC
• Immediate joining required
