QA/QC Inspector Mechanical

We are actively seeking experienced Mechanical Inspectors specializing in Rotating and Static Equipment to join our growing project team in Qatar. If you have a strong QA/QC background in EPC oil and gas projects, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

▸ Witness and perform inspections on rotating equipment — pumps, compressors, turbines, and fans — in line with project specifications and international standards

▸ Inspect static equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, storage tanks, and piping fabrication

▸ Review and verify Manufacturer Data Reports (MDRs), Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and material traceability documents

▸ Conduct dimensional checks, NDE witness, hydrostatic & pneumatic testing, and final factory acceptance testing (FAT)

▸ Coordinate with vendors, third-party inspection agencies, and client representatives

▸ Ensure compliance with ASME, API, PED, and relevant QatarEnergy specifications

▸ Prepare detailed inspection reports, NCRs, and punch-list documentation

Minimum Requirements:

▸ Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

▸ 6+ years of inspection experience in Oil & Gas / EPC projects

▸ Valid CSWIP 3.1 / AWS CWI certification (preferred)

▸ Proficiency in ASME Sec. VIII, ASME B31.3, API 510, API 660, API 661 standards

▸ Strong familiarity with ITP development and third-party witness inspection

▸ MMUP/UPDA registration is an advantage

▸ Freelansers preferred or QID with NOC
