QA/QC Inspector (Qatar Energy / LNG Experience Required)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Inspector with proven experience in LNG projects, preferably within QatarEnergy standards and requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction, installation, and inspection activities meet project specifications, international codes, and client quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections and tests in accordance with approved ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans)
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes (e.g., ASME, API, ISO)
• Conduct material receiving inspections and verify certifications
• Monitor welding, coating, mechanical, and piping activities
• Coordinate with third-party inspectors and client representatives
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, reports, and records
• Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions
• Participate in internal and external audits

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of QA/QC inspection experience in Oil & Gas, with strong focus on LNG projects
• Mandatory experience working on QatarEnergy or similar major operator projects
• Certifications such as CSWIP, BGAS, NDT Level II, or equivalent are highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and procedures
