Rysso-Peters is a premier manufacturer of custom architectural millwork, cabinetry, interior doors, and specialty woodwork for luxury residential and commercial projects. We are known for exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and delivering high-quality products to our clients.

We are currently seeking a Quality Control & Shipping Manager to oversee the final stages of production and ensure every project is complete, accurate, and ready for installation.

Required Qualification (Must Have)

Applicants MUST know how to read and interpret architectural and millwork shop drawings.

You must be able to:

• Read architectural plans and elevations
• Interpret millwork shop drawings
• Verify dimensions, materials, finishes, and hardware requirements
• Cross-reference finished products against approved shop drawings
• Identify missing or incorrect components before shipment

ResponsibilitiesQuality Control

• Receive completed products from manufacturing and finishing departments
• Inspect cabinetry, doors, millwork, and specialty products for quality and completeness
• Verify products match approved shop drawings and project specifications
• Check dimensions, finish quality, hardware installation, and overall craftsmanship
• Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrections before shipment

Shipping & Staging

• Organize and stage completed projects for delivery
• Verify all project components are complete prior to shipment
• Cross-check materials against shop drawings, work orders, and packing lists
• Ensure all hardware, accessories, and specialty components are included
• Coordinate loading and delivery schedules

Delivery & Installation Support

• Conduct spot checks of deliveries and project staging
• Verify projects arrive complete and properly protected
• Assist installation teams by ensuring projects are organized and ready for installation
• Maintain a clean, organized shipping and staging area

Preferred Experience

• Architectural millwork
• Custom cabinetry
• Interior doors and trim
• Manufacturing or woodworking
• Construction or finish carpentry
• Forklift operation

We need someone who takes ownership of the final product before it reaches the customer. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, understands shop drawings, and can ensure every project leaves our facility complete, organized, and ready for a successful installation.
